How to fix all Google play store errors

All Android users know that Google Play Store has its fair share of problems and if I say that this is the most frustrating thing at times, no one is going to disagree with me, will you?
So today I'm talking about some well-known Google play store errors, and I hope that you'll find what you are looking.

1. Google Play Store won't start downloading:-

This error is very common, and I think that every Android user has faced it at least once.
According to this problem downloading won't start after clicking on download and it will be stuck at loading screen.
This issue is related to old Google play store / Google play services data and common for the new users who will try to use their smartphones for the first time.

Solution:-

I have some quick fixes for this problem, just follow these steps -
. Go to setting
. Tap on Applications
. Swipe to the all column
. Scroll down and find these three apps, Google play services, Google play store and Google services framework.
. Tap on clear cache > tap on clear data. Do this step for all three apps mentioned above.

Now all you need to do is to let Google play store update itself. It takes a little time and maybe it will show some error like "Connection timed out" or "Failed to retrieve information from server" but don't lose your hope and keep on trying as it will work after it updates itself completely.

Optional method:-

I will strongly recommend that you go through these steps. It will save your time and keeps you away from other headaches -
. Go to setting
. Tap on Applications
. Swipe to the all column
. Now scroll down and find Google play store and tap on Uninstall updates > then clear cache > clear data
. Now download the latest version of Google Play Store
. Install and done! (try to install Google play services as well if it doesn't work for you.)

2. Authentication is required, you need to sign in to your Google account:-

Such type of error is common when you change the password of your Gmail account (which used in Google play store). I recently have a hard time figuring out this error, and I'm sure that some of you are still having a hard time.

Solution:-

The first thing you have to do is remove your Google account from setting menu (Account that you are using in play store), after doing this, follow these simple steps:-
. go to setting
. Scroll down to Accounts
. Tap on Google and then remove your account from the drop-down menu at upper right corner

Note:-

If you are facing problem in removing the account or don't find an option for removing Google account then just simply add a new Google account and remove the previous one.
After removing your Google account, just follow these steps:-
. Go to setting
. Tap on Applications
. Swipe to the all column
. Now scroll down and find Google play store and tap on Uninstall updates > then clear cache > clear data
. Now download the latest version of Google Play Store
. Install it and then add your Google account back
. Boom ! It's working now for sure

    1. Hey Ryan, I'm assuming that you've already tried steps mentioned above(clear cache and data, swapping Google accounts etc.). Error -504 is a gateway error and normally it is caused by the poor internet connection. But, in your case it is associated with xposed framework. First, try these basic methods- (i) switch to any WiFi connection and see if it works. (ii) If not, then try to use a VPN app. If none of the above method worked for you, then try to install a different version of xposed framework. Sometimes error 504 arises due to installing the wrong version of xposed framework. Even if you are sure about the version of xposed framework, it is recommended to reinstall it again. Let me know if you have any further problem.
